Commissions
If you would like something a little more personal, for example a hand drawn picture of your pet, I am currently taking commissions. Whether it be of your pet or your favourite animal, I can work with you to produce personalised artwork of your choice. All that is required is a high quality photograph for me to work from. Below you can find a price list to give a guide to commission costs. Due to the variable nature of commissions, this list is to be used as a general guide. Each commission is unique and exact quotes can be given once further details are established.
If this is something you would be interested in, feel free to contact me for more information about a personalised commission service.
The Commission Process…
First of all, we can discuss when you would like your artwork to be completed. This will give you an idea of time scale and when you can expect your piece to be completed. The time scale is dependent upon the picture size, and my current waiting list. My waiting list varies according to the time of year, and can often exceed a few months, so do make sure you get in early if you would like your artwork for a particular occasion or as a gift. Events such as Christmas, Mother’s/Father’s Day, Valentines Day etc are often booked up well in advance, so make sure you book a slot as early as possible if this is something you would like to do.
We will then need to source a photograph suitable for me to use as a reference to work from. This photo needs to be of a fairly high quality to enable me to capture and replicate detail as accurately as possible into your drawing. You are more than welcome to send me any existing photographs you have, and I can advise as to what sort of photos work best to capture your pet’s personality. Alternatively, I can help with the photographic process if required (see details below).
We will then need to work out the size of your drawing. I offer a wide variety of sizes, and a general price guide can be seen below. Please note, this price guide is based upon me retaining the right to reproduce the artwork in print/product form after the commission process is complete. If you would like a completely unique and original piece (guaranteed not to be reproduced), further charges will apply. Please contact for further information.
Once we have established the reference photograph and preferred size, I will then give you a more accurate quotation. This is when you can decide if you are happy to proceed with your drawing. I will take a small deposit at this stage of the process.
I will then complete your personalised artwork, and keep you updated on progress.
On completion, we can discuss the final details before you receive your artwork, for example framing. All quotes given for my standard size artworks include your framing cost, which I offer as a complimentary service when a commission is purchased. Drawings can, of course, be purchased without framing if preferred. I have an array of standards frames available, including various different styles and colours. If something more specific is required, to perhaps match existing frames in the household, this can be discussed and an additional cost may be added to allow for this.
Once your commission is fully completed and ready for its new home, we can organise delivery or collection as required. The only thing left is for your new artwork to be hung up in its new home and enjoyed!

Further Commission Based Services
If you would like a pet portrait but are unable to send a high quality photo of your pet, I offer a photographic service and can come to your location to take high quality photos for you. You are free to purchase these photographs in addition to the drawn portrait. Fees are variable depending on your location, please contact me to discuss. Many people have successfully chosen this route, as it enables me to capture the character and personality of your animal, which is a big part of what makes my service unique. Having said this, I am very happy to use your photographs and the majority of personalised pet commissions I complete use photographs sent by clients.
